SESSION: Alberta Municipalities - Transitioning to a Low Carbon Future

Simon has worked in the environmental field in a variety of capacities in Alberta over 30 years.  His breadth of experience extends to strategic and operational planning, policy and program development to deliver proven, measurable success. As one of the original architects of C3, he helped establish a unique model for program delivery in an effective, less costly manner.  His work in creating C3’s green office resulted in the first Western Canadian office to receive EcoLogo certification. Simon has led in the creation of several new organizations, including Net Zero Energy Home Coalition, Alberta Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council, among others.  His passion for making Alberta a model of energy efficiency and sustainability is evident in both his career and volunteer pursuits.  Simon divides his time between the Edmonton and Calgary offices of C3.
