SESSION: Zero Emissions:  Where Will the Next Wave of Emission Reduction Innovations Come From?

Raphael is President and Chief Platform Officer of CoPower. He leads internal development activities for the company, including financial models, risk management, and development of the online platform. Representing CoPower, Raphael serves on the Executive Council of the Equity Crowdfunding Alliance of Canada (ECFA), and co-chairs its Crowdfunding Portals committee. The ECFA serves as a voice for the crowd-financing industry, promoting opportunities for Canadians to associate together to access investment opportunities.

Before co-founding CoPower, Raphael was a founding team member at Inerjys Ventures, a clean energy investment fund, where he led market research and selection of investment opportunities. Prior to Inerjys, Raphael worked in high-perfomance computing and in engineering and physics research. He has served as expert commentator on clean energy topics for several newspapers and industry publications.

Raphael holds a B.Eng. in electrical engineering from McGill University and an M.Sc. in physics from the University of Toronto.
